Chandigarh: The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved the release of the Punjabi movie “Toofan Singh” in the controversy for not releasing the censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Studies for the last one year. For some reason, ths film has been adjourned and the Censor board refused to approve this film. Produced by Dilbag Singh’s , under the banner of ‘Royal Cine Arts’, this movie ‘Toofan Singh’ is a movie based on the real story of Punjab. The story of the film is associated with the life of the Sikh warrior of Punjab, Bhai Jugraj Singh al-tufan Singh, in the 1980’s, where with the slowdown of government machinery and permanent political structure, ‘Toofan Singh’ is forced to take up arms and fight against crime. . In this movie, Tufan Singh will become a genuine helper to the people fighting for the right and truth, a hero for unarmed people both for for the Sikh and Hindu families. The film is now going to be again released by White Hill Productions. The film is directed by Baghel Singh and the music of the film is composed by Charanjit Ahuja and Gurmeet Singh. Ranjeet Bawa, Shefali Sharma, Bollywood actress Raza Murad ‘Yashpal Sharma, Sunita Dheer, Sardar Sohi, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Yad Grewal, Jarnail Singh and Narender Nina etc will be seen acting. The film, which is going to be released (wordwide) on August 8, 2017, is also a special feature film, which is the first Punjabi film that has been made in action on the Hollywood level.
